Exciting Opportunities Ahead: Scholarship 2026 Announcement Details Revealed

The Idaho Mayflower Society's annual scholarship program is presented annually and funded by its members and friends. The scholarship is granted from funds for one student who is an Idaho Resident and attending any accredited college or university.

The Ida Hardy Scholarship is named in honor of our former Idaho Society of Mayflower Descendants – Governor*, who has served our chapter in a variety of roles over the years, including Governor, Deputy Governor General and Treasurer and as a member of the Board of Directors for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants.

The Scholarship Committee aims to create a long-lasting association with Idaho educators and students in the pursuit of academic success in higher education with annual college scholarship awards. Applicants and Recipients will gain a better understanding of the historical significance and true story of a few brave souls aboard the Mayflower who endured harsh weather conditions, insufficient food supplies and crowded living spaces on their voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to the New World in 1620.

Scholarship Program Vision: “The scholarship program connects ancestral legacies of Idaho educators and students with historical hereditary ties to Mayflower Passengers from 1620”.
